I’ve been a designer, educator, and entrepreneur since 1998. Throughout my career, I’ve built and led creative teams and collaborated with renowned global brands and agencies such as PepsiCo, Claro, Banco do Brasil, RD Station, Macromedia, and Future Brand. I founded Liquid, one of Latin America's leading digital agencies, and later established Haus, a design consultancy.
Today, I bring this experience to my role as Director of Design and Development at BrandDog. Over the years, I have received recognition through various awards and curations, which reflects my commitment to delivering high-quality design solutions. I lead strategic brand and web projects, developing solutions that enhance how businesses connect with their audiences. My focus is on building brands that endure and websites that excel both visually and functionally, with a clear, purposeful strategy.
Clarity, consistency, and cohesiveness are central to my approach. Every aspect of a brand should feel unified, and every interaction should be meaningful and intentional.
I find the most satisfaction in the final stages of the creative process. While many are drawn to the excitement of early brainstorming, I thrive on the meticulous refinement that brings everything together. Those final adjustments often elevate a project from good to exceptional.
Working at a boutique agency like BrandDog allows for a collaborative, focused environment. Our experienced senior team operates with a culture of trust and autonomy, enabling us to produce our best work without unnecessary roadblocks. I’ve always believed that great work happens when people are empowered, not micromanaged.
Over the years, I’ve learned to anticipate challenges, simplify complex problems, and recognize issues before they become obstacles. My colleagues often remark on my attention to detail—if something escapes my notice, there’s usually a deliberate reason.
Outside of work, I find balance and inspiration by engaging in activities unrelated to design. Climbing mountains, playing music, diving into games, or simply spending time at home all contribute to a refreshed perspective and creative renewal.
Lately, I’m particularly interested in how AI is enhancing efficiency and enabling smarter, more streamlined workflows. At the same time, I believe in moving away from trends that prioritize novelty over purpose. Brands that earn genuine recognition are those that consistently respect their audience, demonstrating that principle through thoughtful design, messaging, and user experience.
One principle that has always influenced my work is this: good design is less design. It’s a simple concept, but truly understanding it reshapes everything about how you approach the work.
