Content Marketing Manager

Branding

At the core of everything I do is listening. Whether it’s understanding the audience, spotting patterns in data, or hearing what the client really needs. I believe great marketing starts with empathy and adaptability.

I’m a marketing and content strategist with experience in both creative execution and client management. Before joining BrandDog, I worked in a variety of marketing and operations roles across agency and in-house environments. In those roles, I crafted multi-channel marketing campaigns, developed brand communication strategies, and spearheaded company-wide internal communications and onboarding initiatives. I’ve supported brands through content planning, event marketing, and people operations, always bringing an eye for detail and a passion for clear communication. Having worked across different industries and functions, I take an audience-first approach to every project, ensuring content is both strategic and impactful.

At BrandDog, I manage both content and client relationships. My day-to-day involves planning, writing, and designing content across social media, ads, blogs, websites, and email newsletters. In addition to content creation, I work directly with clients to ensure their projects run smoothly from start to finish. In my role, I lead meetings, manage communication, and keep everything on track to make the process seamless and stress-free.

What I love most about my role is the balance between strategy and creative execution. I get to be hands-on with content while ensuring everything aligns with client goals.I enjoy the variety of tasks I take on, from big-picture planning to the finer creative details that bring ideas to life.

My approach to marketing is all about finding the balance between data and creativity. I love diving into research and analytics to guide our strategy, but I also enjoy bringing new ideas to life. At the core of everything I do is listening, whether it’s understanding the audience, identifying patterns in data, or truly hearing what a client needs.I believe great marketing starts with empathy and adaptability.

Some of my favorite projects to work on are brand and website builds because they combine strategy, creativity, and execution. I enjoy seeing each piece come together, from research and copy to design and launch, to create something cohesive and impactful. I’m also especially proud of the work we’ve done for BrandDog itself. Watching our brand evolve and helping shape its growth through content and strategy has been a rewarding experience.

Working at a boutique agency has given me the chance to explore different areas of marketing and work closely with experts across our team. I’ve grown in ways I didn’t expect and appreciate being in an environment where my voice is valued. The collaborative and dynamic culture at BrandDog challenges me to keep learning, improving, and refining my skills.

When it comes to the client experience, I try to keep things clear and low-stress. I like to set expectations early, communicate openly, and make sure clients always know what’s happening and what comes next. My goal is to take the guesswork out of the process so they feel confident and supported.

If I had a creative superpower, it would be my ability to spot the small details that make a big difference. Whether it’s fine-tuning a design, ensuring every element of a project aligns seamlessly, or solving problems before they arise, I thrive on the behind-the-scenes work that brings everything together. I also really enjoy working one-on-one with my team to refine ideas, troubleshoot challenges, and build better work together.

Outside of work, I love traveling, spending time outside, and working on creative projects. I’ve tried just about every craft project out there and enjoy anything hands-on. I spend as much time outside as I can, either walking by the lake in Chicago or meeting up with friends. When I’m not doing that, I’m usually planning my next trip. I’ve been to 21 countries so far and have a goal to visit 30 by 30!

One industry trend I’m excited about is the shift toward authentic, value-driven content. Brands that prioritize transparency and real insights are building stronger connections and trust. What I’d love to leave behind? The flood of AI-generated, irrelevant LinkedIn comments meant to boost engagement. I strongly believe that real conversations matter more than generic responses that add nothing to the discussion.

To me, a strong brand is one that feels instantly recognizable and consistent across every touchpoint. The best marketing advice I’ve received is simple: just start. You don’t need to wait for everything to be perfect. Show up, stay consistent, and keep learning as you go.
